Nothing seems to be able to stop the pop-culture phenomenon that is Funko. The good news is, with their ever-growing popularity, comes ever-growing license agreements. While they already have some of the biggest names on the planet in it’s lineup, Funko has added some major licenses recently to it’s already gigantic arsenal. In addition to the recently released lines from True Blood, Firely, Buffy, Attack on Titan, and America Horror Story, Funko has announced licensing agreements with the following titles:

Orange is the New Black

The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Star Trek the Next Generation

Big Trouble in Little China

The X-Files

The Breakfast Club

Sixteen Candles

Weird Science

The Godfather

Top Gun

Battlestar Galactica

The Matrix

MacGuyver

Stripes (yes, the Bill Murray movie)

Futurama

Family Guy

The Fifth Element

Orphan Black

Sesame Street

Vikings

Avengers 2

And last but not least….. Doctor Who!!!!!

That’s right Whovians, you will finally be able to get your hands on Doctor Who themed Funko pieces. And for everyone else, I am positive there is something in these lines for you. I’m personally excited about the Doctor Who and Breakfast Club lines.

Now, it is still uncertain how Funko will be utilizing these licenses. They could be for Funko Pops, Wacky Wobblers, Reaction figures, or anything else. I’m sure, like me, most of you are hoping for a majority of Pops, but it will still be awesome to own a line of Big Trouble in Little China Reaction figures.

The one thing that is certain is that whatever Funko does with the licenses, I’m sure we will all love it. My only real concern is that I am going to have to run out and purchase more shelves.
