February 20th through 22 Creation Entertainment is coming to the Shearton Phoenix with their “Salute to Supernatural” convention. They are celebrating ten years of the Winchester brothers kicking demon ass and occasionally taking names. If you are a fan of the show, this is exciting news, as almost all of the key characters from over the years will be in attendance including: Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Misha Collins (Castiel), Mark Sheppard (Crowley), Rob Benedict (Chuck), and many, many more. If you are not a fan of the show, well…I don’t even understand that statement, so I will just move on.
If you are not familiar with Creation Entertainment’s convention style, you are in for an even more special treat. Creation’s conventions are a little less “convention-al” (sorry-had to). The Salute to Supernatural will be less like a convention and more akin to a party, which is fitting for Supernatural’s tenth birthday.
It all starts with your resident Master of Ceremonies for the weekend, Richard Speight Jr. (aka Gabriel, Trickster, Loki, etc). From there, you can attend anything from trivia contests, costume contests, auctions, and even a Karaoke Party hosted by Speight and Matt Cohen (young John Winchester). There will be no shortage of vendors on site to supply you with all the Supernatural merchandise you can handle. And, of course, to top it all off, the insane guest list for all of your autograph and photo-ops.
Whether you are a hardcore fan of the show, or are just starting on down the Road so Far, there will surely be something there for you.
